Frequently asked questions

What is SyncHer?
SyncHer is an app for boyfriends and partners. You enter when her last period started and her usual cycle length, and SyncHer shows an estimated cycle phase with one simple, thoughtful action for the day. Wingman, the raccoon wingman, keeps it light and practical.
How does the forecast work?
SyncHer counts forward from the start date you enter using her average cycle length. It splits the cycle into four color-coded phases: Period (red), Recovery (blue), Green zone (green) and PMS window (yellow).
It's an estimate. Real cycles vary, so update the start date when her next period begins — there's a one-tap “Her period started today” button on the home screen.
Is SyncHer a medical, contraception or fertility app?
No. SyncHer is a relationship and communication aid. It doesn't diagnose anything, predict ovulation for contraception or pregnancy, or replace advice from a doctor. If there are health concerns, talk to a healthcare professional.
Does it predict her mood?
No. The phase guide describes common patterns, and plenty of people don't match them. Use it as a reminder to pay attention, and always go by what she actually tells you.
What is Chat?
Chat is a conversation with Wingman. Describe what's going on — “she said she's fine but she seems upset” — and Wingman replies with ideas and, when it helps, a line you could say. Ask follow-up questions as the situation changes. Treat suggestions as a starting point and put them in your own words.
Does she need to use the app too?
No. SyncHer is designed for you. We do recommend being open with her about it — most people appreciate a partner who pays attention.
Which phones are supported?
iPhone comes first. An Android version is planned.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, email or password.
Where is my data stored?
Her nickname, the dates you enter, her cycle length, favorites, notes and your goals are stored on your phone. Built-in tips and daily notifications are generated on your phone.
What are AI tips, and what do they send?
AI tips are optional: SyncHer asks during setup and sends nothing until you say yes. When they're on, they send only what's needed to write a tip: the current phase and cycle day, the favorites you picked, a short summary of which tips worked, the day of the week, and the recent messages of your Chat conversation.
Her name, the actual dates and your contact details are never sent. The request goes through SyncHer's server in the EU to an AI model provider that is configured not to keep or train on the data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I change my AI tips choice later?
Yes, anytime in Settings → AI tips. With AI tips off, SyncHer uses tips built into the app and nothing is sent to the AI service.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings → Delete all data. This erases everything SyncHer stored on your phone and signs out the anonymous AI session. Deleting the app also removes the data on your phone. Subscriptions are managed by Apple and are not cancelled by deleting data — see below.
How much does SyncHer cost?
SyncHer offers monthly and yearly subscriptions. The exact price in your currency is shown in the app before you subscribe.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible new subscribers get a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple account is charged. Whether you're eligible is decided by the App Store.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SyncHer, then Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone. How do I restore my subscription?
Sign in with the same Apple account, open SyncHer and tap Restore on the subscription screen or in Settings. Your cycle data isn't synced between phones, so you'll need to enter it again.
